Jon from LAMuscle.tv just sent me their Pomona Body Art Expo video, making tattoo blogging easy for me today as I end my Mexican vacation and head back to NYC. Love them muscle men!

Granted, I did have to do a screen-grab instead of embed but if you click this link it will take you to scenes from the Pomona show, one of the largest conventions in the US, where you can see legends like Rick Walters workin his Americana magic.

Pi and e Tattoo: Physics/Tattoo Mania!

Now this is what you call true physics mania. I’m sure most of you out there would be bewildered but those who find mathematics and physics interesting subjects surely have made out as to what this tat represents. Adorned by Steve Vallis, it’s a Pi on the left, Chinese character for chaos on the right side and dots signifying the values of pi and e respectively with each row of dots equating to one digit of each number. That’s not all, he plans to have it extended another 3 or 4 lines lower in the future with the lines fading out to reinforce the infinite nature of the two numbers. Doesn’t this show true physics and tattoo craze!
